World class: Seaway is growing to meet customers’ needs

At Seaway, our focus has always been our customers’ success. That’s the reason we’ve been making changes in the way we do business. We believe our 2018 investment in people and technology leads to better customer outcomes.

When we say “Bound for Success,” we’re talking about the success of the wonderful people and the myriad of companies we are proud to do business with. They count on us to print, bind, and ship their magazines, books, and other publications. It’s a great partnership.

We’re excited about our growing ability to contribute to the success of our customers, whether they’re publishers or national distribution partners.

First, let’s look at our technology. Our investment in a high-speed, high-quality Heidelberg press means products get to market in record time. We know quick turn-around time is important in today’s fast-paced world. Our newest press can print 18,000 sheets an hour, without sacrificing quality.

Secondly, let’s look at our team. Our investment in people ensures that our customers receive seamless service across all phases of production.

Serving customers in the print distributor and reseller market is Joe Lancour, Director of National Sales. Joe has 25 years of print experience. He has the knowledge distributors can rely on to provide information and direction. Best of all, customers can expect a smooth, stress-free experience when working with Joe.

On the publishing end, Jeremy Ness has joined our team as the Director of Publisher Services. He’s the first contact for publishers wanting to see their works printed and bound. With more than 20 years of experience in graphic communications, Jeremy understands that the quality of the finished product is a direct reflection of a company’s brand.

Safeguarding that quality throughout the production process falls to Shawn Welch, our new Director of Manufacturing, and his production team. Shawn has more than 20 years of experience in print production management. He understands the importance of efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process for all parties associated with a project.

We’re excited about the changes we’ve made at Seaway, and customers should be, too. We now have the people and technology in place to offer responsive customer service, excellent quality products, competitive prices and quick turn-around time. Customers reap the benefits of working with a world-class manufacturer of books, magazines, and other products they use and sell.

First and foremost, our focus is on our customers, making certain they are “Bound for Success.”
